Overview

The 2250D fiber links transmit up to 16 channels of low-speed digital
data, switch/status information, or control-function signals over one
single-mode fiber.

Programmable Outputs

Using microprocessor technology, the user may program the receiver
to provide 16 channels of alternate-action outputs, or 16 channels of
momentary outputs, or eight channels of each type. Outputs are TTL
drivers and Normally Open (NO) relays. A complete system consists of
a transmitter and a receiver, configured as standalone units or as rack
cards.

Superior Diagnostics

The SMARTS™ diagnostic technology provides system status LEDs
that monitor the status of the data path and the optical signal.
