Overview

The 353A Intercom Interface is used in combination with other fiber
optic transmission system to provide two-way audio transmission. The
353A is designed to provide the intercom interface that links the
remote panels to the master panel.

Maintains All Intercom Functions

It supports the features of intercoms manufactured by Aiphone along
with the features of the links with which they are combined. All the
functions of the intercom systems, e.g., push-to-call, push-to-talk, call,
and hands-free operation, are transparent through the interface units.

Fiber-Optic Compatibility

The 353A is intended to be used in conjunction with the B746AV,
B748AV, S751DA, S754DA, S761DAV, S764DAV or the S768DAV
fiber-optic links, allowing the system integrator to provide video,
control and intercom audio all over one fiber.
