Product Information GE DVMRe-Pro4-160DVD 4-Channel Color Triplex Multiplexer/Recorder, 160GB HDD, DVD, Ethernet, Audio, Pro The GE Security DVMRe Pro is a digital
recorder and multiplexer that adds
CD-R or DVD+R writing to Triplex
capabilities. The DVMRe Pro is ideal for
large-scale security systems that require
quick, easy evidence sharing—such as
shopping malls and multi-building
school or business campuses.
The built-in CD-R or optional
DVD+R drive makes it easy to produce
and share convincing video evidence.
Choose the recording you want to share
and press the record button. In minutes
you’ll have a CD or DVD to pass on to the
authorities. The DVD+R lets you store
more than 4.5 gigabytes of data on one
DVD—six times the capacity of a CD.
In Turbo Recording Mode, the
DVMRe Pro captures 120 pictures per
second so you can view smooth images
from one or more cameras without
missing important details from the
others.
Triplex functionality lets you
continue to record while you watch
either live or playback images. The
included WaveReader software allows
you to view live or recorded images from
multiple DVMRe Pro units on an Ethernet network, in multiscreen
formats up to 64-way—and you can
receive e-mail notification of alarms. You
can program alarm, event and time-lapse
record rates for each camera separately,
customizing recording for each viewing
area.
Adding the ProBridge interface to
the DVMRe Pro lets you associate pointof-
sale (POS) or ATM text, or text from
any other serial device, with corresponding
video so you can add text searching
—for details such as transaction number,
amount of sale or access control data—
to your instant search capabilities.
